In the era of so-called stakeholder capitalism, it becomes increasingly important to act in purpose-driven logic and to speak out in coherence with the new values of sustainability and the positive impact on the environment and society.
Managers and Top Managers are now called to witness - even in the first person - an exemplary ethos that is carried out not only in corporate-personal actions, but also in the narration of these same actions on different social channels and not: Because if you don’t tell your actions, they’re not perceived.

So what differentiates a business story from a personal narrative? And how do you build a personal and corporate brand up to this task? What are the most used narratives that can be followed to generate social impact and involvement, going beyond the background noise? How do you create a narrative community that has a common business and action connection and can be activated when needed?

In this meeting, Andrea Fontana, a pioneer of corporate storytelling in Italy, will guide the participants - through practical cases - in the construction of corporate and personal narratives consistent with widespread and effective social leadership. Through the examination of the most popular narratives to create emotion, we will analyse the ways in which leaders, executives, managers and top managers can talk about themselves to have credibility, involvement and engagement inside and outside the company. In particular, the following issues will be addressed:

  • stakeholder capitalism and fiction economy: the story as a platform for life and business
  • what is and how to build a personal narrative to support the company story (and vice versa)
  • People, Planet, Prosperity: how to articulate the great social themes in your narrative
  • You | Me | Now: the "secret code" of the great personal narratives
  • attention to counter-narratives: what they are and how to avoid them.
