The Russian invasion of Ukraine marks a profound turning point in the world order and requires a profound reflection on the state and transformation of the European Union and the entire West. The world economy also faces not only the aftermath of the pandemic shock, but also long-term changes that, beyond the pandemic, will have far wider effects.
 
The European response to the crisis, however, has been surprisingly cohesive and united. Is this a sign of a radical change that will transform the Union into a real power? Is the invasion of Ukraine a key moment in the geopolitical awakening of the Union?
 
Thanks to this meeting with Gilles Gressani, expert in geopolitics and director of the magazine Le Grand Continent, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the state of European geopolitics and reflect on the prospects of the new world order.
