Among the riches of the city of Verona, stands Palazzo Maffei: an historic building recently restored and made home to one of the most prestigious private collections open to the public.
During this visit, participants will have the opportunity to admire more than 350 works of the collection, including paintings, sculptures, drawings and a unique selection of art objects.
 
The collection ranges from Renaissance art to contemporary art, through surrealism and abstract painting in a journey that goes from 1400 to the present day. Among the many masterpieces of the private collection, stand out masterpeaces of Futurism and metaphysical painting and some of the greatest artists of the twentieth century: Umberto Boccioni, Giacomo Balla, but also Pablo Picasso, Giorgio de Chirico and Giorgio Morandi next to René Magritte, Max Ernst, Marcel Duchamp. And again Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Piero Manzoni, and many others.
 
The visit will offer the opportunity to see close-up works that cannot be found elsewhere and, thanks to a meeting with the President of the Palazzo Maffei Foundation, to know from the inside the managerial aspects of a recent but already well established successful museum reality.
