With the outbreak of war between Russia and Ukraine, the world powers are faced with a new challenge. Deeper and more dangerous than the two years of pandemic and, instead of continuing to question how the world will change after Covid-19, the focus has shifted to Putin and the possible geopolitical implications of his actions. Besides Ukraine, there are numerous other open points in the current Geopolitics, ready to take the spotlight after the current crisis.
 
Democracy or autocracy? Why do some powers continue to be "carnivorous" while others become "herbivorous"? How to explain the crisis zones of the contemporary world? What are the possible future scenarios?
 
To look to the future, we must analyze the past. History teaches that rivalries, challenges between nations and conflicts follow an ancient script.
