 Rebuilding the future of Italy: the challenges to be faced (and overcome) in the national and European context

The effects of the pandemic, the return of the war in Europe, the worsening of socio-economic inequalities are radically influencing the evolution of society and the unity between NATO and the European Union. 

According to Ernesto Galli Della Loggia, a columnist expert on contemporary history, the West appears increasingly cohesive politically and shares the underlying values and strategies in world affairs. During this meeting, in the light of recent election results, the participants will reflect on the prospects and challenges of Italy and deepen the following aspects: 
• What new role for Italy in Europe?
• the need for new rules for a way of governing stable and able to decide
• an increasingly difficult social landscape.
