With 700,000 square feet of surface and 1,200 employees, the Amazon Distribution Center of Torrazza Piemonte is one of the most relevant and advanced logistics centers in the Country.

Equipped with modern Amazon Robotics technology, the hub is a symbol of technological innovation that changes consumer habits and, at the same time, the way of working. In fact, warehouse workers work inside fixed workstations while the goods move, using a fully automated system: from storage and picking operations to the subsequent packaging and shipping phases, everything is managed remotely.

The participants of the visit will have the opportunity to discover the "behind the scenes" of the world’s leading e-commerce reality, now completely inserted in the Italian commercial fabric, appreciating its technological and organizational specificities. The visit will be introduced by a speech by the company representatives who will explain the operation of the site of Torrazza, to better understand the characteristics not only technological but also environmental sustainability and safety.
