The meeting will give participants the opportunity to visit the innovative production site of Cassinetta, the central hub for the production of household appliances and to chat with the company’s management.
 
The core of the visit will be the tour of the production lines of refrigerators and microwaves, where it will be possible to "touch" the choices and process innovations implemented in one of the most advanced plants in the sector.
 
In addition to the visit, participants will have the opportunity to meet Paolo Lioy, CEO of Whirlpool Italia & Iberia, and Manuel Rossi, Area Industrial Sr. Director. From the words of the top management of the company, we will learn the strategies of a global player in the industry, focusing on technological choices and advanced production processes put into practice here. It will also be an opportunity to discover the actions and projects carried out with a view to greater environmental sustainability and circularity.
 
Occupying 2,000 of the company’s 19,000 European employees and 1 million square metres of surface area, Cassinetta is the most important of the 11 Whirlpool European plants, coordinated by the EMEA headquarters in Milan. A cutting-edge production site capable of giving continuity to more than 70 years of production history of the country, renewing a tradition that originates from the production of refrigerators Ignis, true vanguard of the Italian economic boom in the 60s.
