In recent years, also because of the troubled times that society has gone through, people’s attention to health, not only physical, has grown a lot. At the same time, companies are increasingly aware that the well-being of their workers is a strategic element, not only in an ethical perspective, but also in retention and performance.

However, there are still obstacles that slow down this change, both organizational and cultural, such as the stigma still present on psychological discomfort and, in general, the difficulty in asking for help and taking care of oneself and others.
How can the company create an effective strategy of well-being spread? How to measure the well-being and positive effects that such a strategy brings to the company? How can a leader effectively help the people he leads?

Geoff McDonald, an international expert in workers' mental health, with more than a decade of experience as an HR executive at Unilever, will share his thoughts, discussing with participants how companies with greater awareness, can build a healthier and safer working environment while increasing business performance.
The meeting will focus in particular on:

  • Wellbeing as a business strategy: boundaries, resources and kpis
  • Mental health: between stigma, stress and awareness
  • the role of leadership: set a good example, care and care
