In a world in transition, in which the strategic choices of localization of productive assets, resources and talents assume an even more crucial role, the attractiveness of the Systems-Country becomes a crucial element in the process of attracting investment and the resulting competition. In this context, the indicators of attractiveness provide the necessary tools, for companies and institutions, to choose consciously where and how to invest.

The European House - Ambrosetti, together with Aviva Assicurazioni in Italia, Philip Morris Italia, Toyota Material Handling Italia and other investing companies in the Country, has launched the Global Attractiveness Index (GAI) platform. The aim is to make available to Italian and international decision-makers an innovative index-Country able to offer a representative picture of the attractiveness and sustainability of the countries and Consequently, provide reliable guidance to support system choices for the growth and optimization of the pro-business environment. Over the years, GAI has obtained the statistical audit of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, to certify its methodological validity, and has become one of the most monitored indices by the Italian Government, as well as being monitored by the governments of other countries (such as Russia, France and Turkey).

In 2022 the 7th GAI update is presented and, in this meeting, Valerio De Molli will deepen the following topics:

• the results of the Global Attractiveness Index 2022
• Italy’s Tableau de Bord: strengths, weaknesses, and tools to relaunch the country.
