Palace Hotel Moderno Viale Martelli,1 - 33170 PORDENONE

The period of disruption and uncertainty we went through has upset the way we work. A change, in some ways radical, that also forces to rethink the models of leadership, looking for new and more suitable to the current context. Previously secondary dimensions, such as the ability to listen and support, become increasingly relevant in a context where well-being, harmony and respect for others are increasingly central and demanded loudly at all levels. However, it is not always easy to unhinge the old relational dynamics, grasp the potential of this new humanism and transform it into the true keystone of relationships and performances.

What does it mean to be an empathetic, kind and inclusive leader? How to change your managerial style to respond to these new demands?

During this meeting, participants will be able to discuss the most important elements of this new way of understanding leadership. Through the contribution of managers and experts, enriched with concrete examples and experiences, participants can reflect on the great positive impact that a more empathetic environment, inclusive and kind can generate in the company and how this is not only a new way of understanding leadership but also the only winning in the long term.

  • Cristina Milani, former president of the World Kindness Movement, will tell us about the potential and benefits of kindness, analyzing its role in relationships in life and work. Through concrete examples, she will then highlight the relationship between the personality of a company and the emotional baggage of management, highlighting the consequent greater or lesser propensity to open up to kindness, empathy and inclusion.
  • Anna Fiscale, awarded the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by President Sergio Mattarella, will bring us her testimony related to Project Quid, social enterprise born in 2014 in collaboration with the women’s section of the Casa Circondariale di Montorio (Verona). Today she helps the inclusion of women and people in disadvantaged to find jobs, promoting a working environment that values diversity and projects that promote inclusiveness.
  • Matteo Lo Duca, long-time Luxottica manager, will tell us about his model of gentle leadership, based on the concept of "selfless artist", enhancement of people and construction of genuine relationships. Through concrete examples and practices of kindness and empathy, he will explain how to shift his focus to other perspectives in an inclusive way, especially in heterogeneous working environments.
