Cinema can be an endless source of inspiration for your professional and personal growth. From the masterpieces of the big screen it is possible to get ideas to strengthen your techniques of communication, leadership and more. At the same time, the "behind the scenes" aspect of film production also offers interesting insights and parallels on the management of complex projects and on the ability to combine creativity and managerial skills.
 
What lessons can we learn from the world of cinema and then apply in our work and private lives?
 
In this meeting, participants will have the opportunity to discuss with speakers from the film industry, learning from different perspectives the ideas offered by this form of art and entertainment.
 
Gianni Canova, film critic, Rector of the IULM University and Full Professor of Film History, will highlight how watching a film can become an opportunity to improve and enhance your skills. Through iconic scenes and fragments of lesser-known films, he will show what teachings can be transferred from the big screen to the company.
 
Andrea Occhipinti, founder of Lucky Red and winner of David di Donatello 2022 as Best Producer, will tell us how he created one of the most important production and distribution companies in Italy. Through practical examples and references to the successful films he produced, including "Il Divo" and "This Must Be The Place" by Paolo Sorrentino", he will explain what skills are needed to manage a complex production machine and what are the ingredients of a winning creative project.

Participants attending the meeting will receive tickets to visit Cinecittà si Mostra. Tickets can be used untill September 30, 2023 for access to the exhibition area and to the historical film studios. Cinecittà is open every day, except Tuesday, from 10.00 to 18.00 with last entry at 16.30.
