Creativity and sustainability: combine them to create an original and sustainable future

(*) Service aimed at executives and middle managers in which AP members can participate.
Centro Svizzero Via Palestro, 2 - 20121 MILANO

Nowadays, sustainability has become a central topic in social and political discussions, and it poses a major challenge for many companies. However, it also presents an opportunity for businesses to tap into the most abundant renewable resource available - human creativity. Creativity can be the driving force behind finding sustainable solutions, and sustainability can inspire creativity to bring about positive change. Therefore, sustainability and creativity complement each other perfectly.

How can creativity be used to address sustainability challenges? How can improve creativity and learn to be more innovative?

This meeting provides an opportunity for participants to reflect on the significant role played by creativity and innovation in building a sustainable future for both the environment and its inhabitants. Through discussions with experts who are dedicated to finding innovative solutions to this challenge, participants will gain insights from the fields of cuisine, architecture, and fashion on how to be more creative and innovative in their daily work.

  • Antonia Klugmann, an acclaimed Italian chef, will present her culinary philosophy that places creativity and sustainability at the forefront of her dishes. She draws inspiration from foraging and repurposing food waste, demonstrating how creativity can help save money and natural resources
  • Davide Angeli, an architect and designer at Michele De Lucchi's studio, will discuss how sustainability—social, economic, and environmental—motivates individuals and organizations to explore new approaches, promoting the use of eco-friendly materials, the adoption of renewable energy, and the implementation of responsible business practices, even in the field of architecture
  • Fabio Guenza, an expert in integrating sustainability into business processes with a focus on the fashion industry, will discuss the theme of personal and organizational growth, which can be achieved by stimulating creativity. Specifically, he will be speaking about Creative Stretch and explaining the optimal environment for fostering innovation while ensuring that business operations do not stifle creativity.
Each attendee will receive one ticket for the ADI Design Museum.

A networking aperitivo will follow the meeting for participants.
