The Sferisterio in Macerata is world-renowned for its distinctive structure set within the city walls, making it a flagship of European neoclassical architecture. The Sferisterio also hosts some of the most important opera festivals in Europe, bringing thousands of visitors to the Marche region each summer. 
 
This year, the Macerata Opera Festival opens with Turandot, an opera drama in three acts by Giacomo Puccini: participants will be offered the opportunity to attend the premiere of the opera, from which the well-known aria "Nessun dorma" is taken. 
 
The performance will be preceded by a meeting with Paolo Gavazzeni, Artistic Director of the Macerata Opera Festival, who will address the importance of collaboration and understanding for a successful performance in the art world, but also how to combine artistic vision with business needs. Introducing and explaining the opera will be Viviana Nebuloni, soprano, entrepreneur and popularizer, who will also bring the vision of the younger generation and a reflection on the future of opera, which also passes through social media.
