Prime numbers in harmony: leadership lessons from the world of music (with networking lunch)

Centro Direzionale Interporto (Blocco C) Via Innsbruck, 15 - 38121 TRENTO

Being a leader today means facing complex situations quickly, guiding teams made up of diverse individuals—each with their own voice, sensitivities, and resistance to change. It’s a challenge shared by both the corporate world and the world of music, where orchestra conductors and jazz band leaders are called upon to create cohesion and harmony in dynamic and often unpredictable environments.

Through engaging storytelling and interactive exercises, Maestro Giorgio Fabbri—conductor and trainer—will lead on an experiential journey to discover a form of conscious leadership based on active listening, presence, and the ability to value differences. Participants will explore the leadership strategies drawn from orchestral conducting and jazz improvisation, with the goal of transferring their strengths into a business context: building strong relationships, managing the unexpected with ease, and directing the group’s energy toward a shared objective.

Topics will include:

  • how to develop the leader’s “conscious presence,” able to read complex dynamics in real time
  • the parallel between orchestras and organizations as ecosystems where every voice matters
  • managing the unexpected as an opportunity, inspired by jazz practice
  • transforming dissonance into harmony, to overcome resistance and activate cooperative change
  • the art of orchestrating, understood as channeling energy toward a shared performance
  • the importance of listening, empathy, and trust in creating a proactive team environment.
