In an organisational context marked by constant transformation and growing complexity, effective leadership today requires two key skills: the ability to communicate clearly and authentically, and the ability to guide teams through change. Conscious and strategic communication not only strengthens a leader’s credibility but also becomes a crucial tool for maintaining cohesion, fostering trust, and sustaining motivation during times of crisis or uncertainty.
Cinema, with the power of its narratives and the evocative strength of its symbols, offers a unique lens through which to interpret these challenges. The dynamics of leadership depicted on the big screen provide concrete insights into how communication can be transformed into action, and how leaders can navigate difficulties by guiding their teams with clarity, empathy, and strategic vision.
In this session, participants will have the opportunity to engage with Gianni Canova — film critic and Past Rector of IULM University — who, through practical examples drawn from cinema, will provide useful tools to develop effective communication and a form of leadership that combines lucidity, empathy, and strategic vision to guide teams through times of transition and challenge.
The meeting will be followed by a guided tour of the Bolla Winery.
