Transformative strategies for global supply chains: best practices from the retail sector

Sede da definire PADOVA

Retail and consumer-centric supply chains are undergoing a profound transformation. While emerging technologies — including agentic AI, the metaverse, drone delivery, and retail media networks — are opening new opportunities, organizations face mounting challenges: the need for extended supply chain visibility (tier 2-n), heightened expectations around responsible sourcing, and evolving talent requirements.

During the session, participants will exchange perspectives and explore in particular:

  • the impact of new technologies, from AI to autonomous solutions and the evolving human–technology interface
  • the evolution of sourcing models, and the convergence between retail/merchandising sourcing and manufacturing/GNFR
  • responsible sourcing, moving beyond compliance toward full supply chain transparency
  • operational frameworks applicable beyond the retail sector
Through comparative benchmarks and real-world cases, participants will assess their positioning and identify actionable solutions.
