During this meeting, participants will be given a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at one of the most innovative hubs in Italian aviation: the training and engineering centre run by South East Aviation Services (SEAS) adjacent to Bergamo–Orio al Serio Airport, Ryanair’s main Italian base in terms of the number of aircraft based there and traffic volumes.

SEAS, which has been the exclusive provider of engineering services for the Irish airline in Italy since 2012, has complemented its maintenance operations with the Aircraft Engineering Academy (AEA), now one of the leading European centres within the Ryanair network for the training of engineers, maintenance technicians and cabin crew.

Led by Alessandro Cianciaruso, Founder and CEO of SEAS, participants will gain an insight into the heart of the Academy and its operational activities to understand how critical skills are developed and how the operational efficiency of one of Europe’s largest fleets is ensured.
In particular, during the visit, participants will have the opportunity to explore:

• the facilities dedicated to the training and instruction of cabin crew and technicians, gaining an in-depth understanding of the model through which SEAS develops the skills necessary to support the growth of the Ryanair network
• the hangars where maintenance is carried out on the fleet’s aircraft, observing at close quarters the processes, standards and activities that ensure safety, reliability and operational efficiency.
