In this meeting, participants will use the language of cinema to explore some of the key challenges related to leadership and team management.

Through the power of cinematic storytelling and under the guidance of Gianni Canova, selected sequences from films that have marked the history of cinema will provide the starting point for analysing choices, behaviours and leadership styles, with continuous connections to managers’ everyday experience.

By analysing characters, relationships and group dynamics, cinema will offer an original perspective from which to reflect on the leader’s role in building trust, developing people and strengthening team cohesion.
In particular, the meeting will focus on three dimensions:

• trust and authority: building strong relationships and fostering collaboration and accountability within the team;
• consistency and credibility: the value of leading by example and ensuring alignment between decisions, behaviours and messages;
• motivation and engagement: empowering people, creating a sense of belonging and strengthening team cohesion, including during periods of change.
