The Michelin factory in Alessandria is the largest factory for the production of truck tyres in Italy with a capacity of over one million pieces per year and 920 employees. The session includes an introduction by Simone Miatton, Chairman and CEO and Daniele Rossi, Plant Manager. Four managers will participate in the meeting that will illustrate the company’s innovations in the path of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.
Michelin has in fact relaunched on sustainability thanks to an investment of 18 million euros to build a pilot line where the tires of the future, with materials able to reduce rolling resistance and lower fuel consumption will be produced. They will also illustrate the projects that Michelin has carried out in recent years working on the territory of Piedmont, through the development of an Open Innovation system.
