China 2020: the post-Coronavirus economic outlook

The coronavirus pandemic is moving in waves around the world and progressively impacting the entire planet. China has been the first country to be seriously impacted by the Covid-19, that has taken its toll on the Country’s economic expansion momentum. China’s post-coronavirus economic outlook will certainly be affected by the set of measures that China’s leadership will unleash to restore the economy and consumers’ confidence, but will also be highly correlated to the capability of its key export markets (i.e., the EU and the USA) to control the epidemic and restart their respective economies. In particular, this webinar will address the following issues:

  • how is China preparing for a global slowdown and what measures will China adopt to support businesses?
  • what will the China new “new normal” be like?
  • what shall we expect from the upcoming National People’s Congress (tentatively scheduled for late April)?
  • what role will China play in the post-COVID-19 geo-economic scenario?
  • will the Belt and Road Initiative survive Covid-19?
