The new European economic framework: what prospects for the recovery of companies after the crisis?

The meeting will be available only in Italian
NH Santo Stefano Via Porta Palatina, 19 - 10122 TORINO

2020 was a very complex period for the global economy and today we are trying to shed light on the future prospects. More than a year after the outbreak of the pandemic, we wonder about the impact of national tax reforms and measures of the European Union have had (and will have) on the economy and recovery of companies. In this meeting, Veronica De Romanis, economist and professor of economic policy, will illustrate the new scenario of the economy of our country within the European framework and will share some ideas on what tools might be needed to allow a strong revival of companies. She will discuss the following topics:

  • the effects of the fiscal measures launched by the European Union
  • the new economic opportunities that could act as an engine for businesses
  • the challenges and priorities for Italy in repairing the damage caused by the crisis.

Speaker

Veronica De Romanis

Professor of European Economic Policy, Stanford University of Florence and LUISS of Rome
