We are always distracted, we live in one of the most challenging times ever for our brain, constantly subjected to different stimuli. Social, TV, internet, chat constantly hijack our attention with the aim of entertaining us, informing us, but without letting us really focus on what we are doing and on the "real" priorities.

The focus of this meeting is attention, an increasingly valuable skill, and how to train it, to become managers and people more "attentive".

  • Cristiano Refi, Head of the STANEVAL Section of the Air Force, will explain how attention is an essential quality for its role and, specifically, how it is essential to maintain the focus of attention when operating in fields of war, where many people’s lives depend on your actions.
  • Lisa Iotti, writer and journalist, will guide us in the world of hyperconnection. Our attention span is getting shorter and shorter and we are constantly distracted by mobile, mail, social networks. From journalistic reports and scientific research, we will discover the dark side of the digital revolution, through the obsessions, dangers and fears that characterize and condition our life and our work.
