Burnout and resilience: strategies and role of leaders in making their teams stress-proof

ERG - Torre WTC Via De Marini, 1 - 16149 GENOVA

The pace of work, constant demands and scarce resources can easily put leaders and their teams on the road to burnout, a trend that has accelerated during the pandemic and that has made it clear that addressing the issue at the individual level is no longer enough.

Instead, we need a new approach, focused on building the resilience of multi-dimensional teams.

This new framework will be shared with participants by Paula Davis, founder of the American Stress & Resilience Institute and author of Beating Burnout at Work: Why Teams Hold the Secret to Well-Being and Resilience.

During the meeting participants will learn:

  • a systemic approach to prevent burnout that takes into account all the components that cause it
  • the latest organisational innovations and scientific breakthroughs that can make organisations more resilient
  • a series of examples of companies and high-stress realities that have been successful in increasing the connection and resilience of teams.
