There are more and more conflicting situations that a leader has to face both in external and internal relations. In some contexts, negotiation is not effective and the alternative of mediation must therefore be explored.
How to manage the balance in these contexts? How to use effective resolution strategies and develop collaborative approaches?
During this meeting with Eugene B. Kogan, international expert in power relationship, negotiation and mediation, Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of mediation models and to refine problem solving in situations of divergence and disagreement.

Specifically, the following topics will be explored:

  • Positional vs. earned authority: enhancing one’s sphere of influence
  • the traps of mediation and how to avoid them
  • ethics and responsibility in the exercise of power.
