Leading in a turbulent environment. The Formula 1 example

Gruppo Hera - Learning Center Viale Carlo Berti Pichat 2/4 - 40127 BOLOGNA

In a highly competitive and turbulent world, it is not uncommon to see giants fall and, at the same time, emerging realities can quickly conquer dominant positions in the market.   In such a context, driving a company to success requires the ability to make the right decisions in a timely manner.  For this reason, companies and Executives are called to rethink their strategy to improve performance more and more often. From business organization, to business models, from digital transformation to innovation of processes or products, everything must be part of a systemic vision aimed at obtaining a competitive advantage.
The point is not whether to innovate or not, but when and how to do it to maximize returns, with a strategy capable of navigating safely through the many turbulences.

What models, then, to implement to make an organization capable of facing great internal and external changes?

In this meeting, participants will be able to chat with Paolo Aversa, Professor of Strategy at the Bayes Business School in London and expert of Formula 1, a highly competitive and dynamic sector, from which companies can take inspiration to prepare themselves to face great changes with speed and effectiveness.
Paolo Aversa will use insights from the F1 world as an example to reveal and understand competitive dynamics, extending the reasoning to other sectors and identifying the tools and models that most effectively respond to today’s business challenges.
