It is not easy to find indicators that can effectively measure progress toward one's strategic goals while also remaining clear and meaningful to the Board and other executives. Other challenges for legacy companies are both those related to their Data Analysts, who spend too much time organizing data rather than analyzing it; and those related to their platform teams, who are often asked to do it by spending as little as possible rather than using it to maximize innovation.
 
How to find the right indicators? How to rethink the role of those working on data and platforms? What metrics does the New York Times use?
 
The aim of this meeting is to offer participants an opportunity to discuss the key role of metrics in the enterprise and how to rethink the role of teams related to data analytics and platform development. To do so, participants will be able to engage with Kendell Timmers, SVP and Head of Data & Insights at The New York Times, who will share the most significant challenges of a company whose success is also built on optimal data management.
