AGGIORNAMENTO PERMANENTE
IN PERSON
How AI transforms Supply Chain Management: from intuition to data. Meeting with David Simchi-Levi and visit to the De Cecco factory (with networking aperitif)

F.lli De Cecco - stabilimento di Ortona Contrada Caldari Stazione, 69 - 66026 ORTONA

In recent years, exponential technological advances have facilitated a shift from decisions based on intuition and experience to increasingly automated and data-driven decisions.
However, executives still need to invest time and energy to:

  • understand and explain the recommendations generated by these tools
  • analyse alternative scenarios
  • update mathematical models to reflect business reality
The meeting will provide participants with a framework to systematically identify where and how AI and Generative AI can be applied to the management of Supply Chain Operations, with a focus on improving decisions, optimising processes, prioritising investments and developing skills.

In addition to the discussion with David Simchi-Levi, one of the world's leading experts in Supply Chain management, participants will then have the opportunity to immerse themselves in De Cecco's production tradition and culture. In fact, a visit to the Ortona factory will provide an up-close look at the pasta factory's entire production process, offering a unique opportunity to learn more about how tradition, innovation and attention to detail come together to guarantee the distinctive quality of De Cecco pasta, an Italian excellence that is appreciated throughout the world.
