Companies aiming to remain competitive are rethinking their strategies to integrate ESG criteria without compromising growth. Whether in manufacturing or services, all businesses need to harness the full potential of this transformation, minimising associated risks (and investment costs) while fully capitalising on the opportunities. How to build a business case for sustainability investments and how to design sustainability strategies that are fully aligned with competitive strategies are the key questions at the heart of this session. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with Paolo Taticchi, Professor at University College London and international expert in sustainability and corporate strategy. Drawing from concrete business cases, he will share practical tools for developing impactful sustainability initiatives. The session will also include reflections on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), reporting standards, and Net Zero goals. With a wide range of real-life examples and best practices, the following topics will be explored:
Professor in Strategy and Sustainability, School Deputy Director, UCL School of Management
