New technologies and aging: turning the demographic challenge into opportunity (with networking cocktail)

E.N.P.A.P. Via Cesare Beccaria, 94/96 - 00196 ROMA

Population aging represents one of the most significant structural transformations of the 21st century.
With profound implications for welfare systems, healthcare, labor, and social cohesion, this demographic trend poses complex challenges but at the same time opens up new opportunities for economic development and social innovation, especially thanks to the use of emerging technologies.

In a context where the average age of the workforce is set to increase, it becomes crucial for companies to rethink organizational models, production processes, and inclusion strategies, valuing the contribution of people over 60. Emerging technologies — from Age-Tech to artificial intelligence applied to well-being — play a key role in this transition, enabling solutions that improve autonomy, productivity, and quality of life.

This event aims to provide an integrated perspective on this rapidly evolving scenario, through three contributions that will address the topic from complementary viewpoints: social, technological, and organizational.
The goal is to offer concrete insights and strategic reflection tools on how to transform one of the main demographic challenges of our time into an opportunity to strengthen business competitiveness and at the same time contribute to collective well-being.
