Wikipedia and trust in the age of AI: Building credible organizations that stand the test of time (with networking lunch)

Sede da definire ROMA

In a context shaped by rapid technological change, growing polarization, and declining trust in institutions and organizations, the ability to build trust has become a critical driver of effective leadership and business competitiveness.

In this session, Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia and author of The Seven Rules of Trust, will draw on his experience building one of the world’s largest collaborative platforms to explore the principles that enable organizations to foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

In particular, the session will explore:

  • how to build trust within organizations by creating cultures that combine autonomy, accountability, and transparency;
  • how to lead and make decisions in complex and polarized environments, encouraging constructive dialogue across different perspectives;
  • how to preserve trust and credibility in the age of AI, amid the proliferation of content, misinformation, and the growing difficulty of identifying reliable information;
  • what lessons from Wikipedia’s experience can be applied by businesses to build resilient organizations capable of standing the test of time.
