From remote leadership to new normal: how to lead an organization making it flexible and ambidextrous

The pandemic has highlighted some structural weaknesses of organizations that have often found themselves unprepared to face new and unexpected scenarios. The organizational challenges of 2019 were in fact the digitalization, the change management, the engagement, and the choices of decentralization.
Today, however, to adapt to changing circumstances, it is important to stress the ability of the company, and the leader, to innovate quickly and, at the same time, effectively and profitably.
How can a leader make their company an ambidextrous organization? And how can they best interact within it?
 
In this meeting, Professor Charles Galunic will explain some reflections from the point of view of corporate organization and leadership, sharing some ideas from his book Backstage Leadership: The Invisible Work of Highly Effective Leaders.
In particular: 

  • how to keep your organization ambidextrous, meaning that is profitable in the present but flexible and quick in the adaptation
  • what qualikties a leader must have to ensure an acceleration of the transformation processes
  • how to integrate the leadership with the heart and culture of the organization
  • what are the future challenges,both for the leader and the organization, in the new-normal era.
