• the flexibility of thought required to generate innovation
• the role and dynamic relationship between perceptions and action
• a "map" to understand which style of thinking we adopt and the possible alternatives
• the role each approach plays at each stage (no one is good or bad, but only appropriate or inappropriate)
• how to move through different styles of thought
• how these themes extend from the individual level to the team level (organizational agility perspective) to the entire company structure (perspective of the creation of value).
